Orca’s Speedsuit development team utilized all of the knowledge developed over more than a decade of designing the world’s best triathlon wetsuits to create the Orca 3.8, the ultimate wetsuit for the endurance distance triathlete to swim further, faster.

The Orca 3.8 introduced a world first technology to triathlon with the unique and exclusive AirRelease under arm panel. This breathable neoprene transfers heat and moisture away from the athlete while retaining its water resistance. The neoprene has a perforated middle layer, which is laminated with a micro-porous barrier membrane to expel vapour molecules.

The latest version of the Orca 3.8 has been refined and tuned to provide even more performance. A new 2mm CardioFlex Chest Panel has been added to provide a greater level of flexibility through the chest and torso region.

The CardioFlex Chest Panel is complimented by the 5mm AirLite SCS Body Panel, also an Orca exclusive technology. AirLite is a neoprene that features internally crafted air cavities to provide superior buoyancy, lifting the wearer into the optimum swimming position. The new Orca 3.8 also features a 5mm HydroLift Bull Panel, which increases flotation around the heaviest part of the torso and improves the rate of balance in the hips.

Other new features that will provide even greater performance for long distance triathletes include the third generation of Orca’s DuoSmooth Neck, a tapered neck seal with a new construction for improved performance and comfort. The Orca 3.8 also has HydroKick Leg Panels to compliment its HydroStroke Forearm Panels, generating more power with every stroke and kick.
